Refund & Fit Guarantee

Summary

Every GumGear mouthguard is made to order from your dental impression. Because each guard is unique to your bite, we cannot accept a return for "change of mind" — but every guard is covered by our Fit Guarantee and Manufacturing Defect Guarantee below.

Fit Guarantee

If your finished mouthguard does not fit comfortably, contact us within 30 days of delivery with:

  • A short description of the fit issue.
  • One or two photos of the guard in place.

We will:

  1. Diagnose the issue with you over email.
  2. Send a fresh impression kit at no cost if a re-impression is needed.
  3. Remake your guard once at no additional charge.

The Fit Guarantee covers one remake per order. Additional remakes after that are billed at the standard product price.

Manufacturing Defect Guarantee

If you receive a guard with a manufacturing defect (cracked layer, mis-bonded surface, incorrect color or artwork relative to your order confirmation), contact us within 30 days of delivery with photos. We will remake the guard at no charge, including shipping.

Impression kits and accessories

Unused impression kits and accessories (in original sealed packaging) may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund minus original shipping. Used kits cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

Lost or damaged shipments

If your order is lost or damaged in transit, contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date and we will work with the carrier to resolve the claim. We will reship or refund at our discretion.

Order cancellation

You may cancel an order for a full refund before we ship your impression kit. Once the impression kit has shipped, the order moves into fulfillment and can no longer be cancelled, but you remain covered by our Fit Guarantee above.

How to start a request

Email support@gumgear.com with:

  • Your order number.
  • A short description of the issue.
  • Photos if the issue is physical.

We aim to reply within two business days.

How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Most card refunds appear in 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
